First, connect the power cable, signal cable and metering motor cable to their corresponding ports on the rear side of the control box.
When used with an injection molding machine, connect the other end of the signal cable to the melt glue valve. When used with an extruder or blow-film machine, connect the other end of the signal cable to the speed analog‑output terminal of the Inverter
Next is screw calibration. Before screw calibration, loosen the bolts on both sides under the hopper, pull the hopper gently to the end.
Press the Up or Down button to enter the setting screen. Press the Down button repeatedly until the Menu function is selected, then press the Confirm button to use the screw clearing function for screw filling
When material starts dropping from the front of the screw, press the green Return button to go back to the setting screen.
Empty the container, press the Up button and select the test function,then press Confirm to enter the test screen. Press the Down button to select the 50‑second test and start the screw test.
After the screw stops rotating, press the Up button to select Fill Time, then press the Down button to select the 50‑second test and run the screw test again.
Complete the screw test three times in total and take the average value.
After finishing the three tests, place the collected plastic material on an electronic scale for weighing. The average value obtained is 52.1.
Press the Down button to select 50‑second Weight and press Confirm to modify the value. Use the Up / Down buttons to adjust the current figure, and use the Left button to switch digits to be modified. Input the test weight 52.1 and press Confirm to save the modified value. 停顿4-5秒
Press Return to go back to the setting screen. Press the Up button to select Basic Parameters and press Confirm to enter the basic‑parameter setting screen. Set the melt time, output weight and color‑masterbatch ratio parameters under Basic Parameters. Press the Return button twice to return to the running screen. Parameter setup is completed.
At this time, if the melting signal from the injection molding machine is received, the unit will start feeding color masterbatch.
