Routine maintenance, which does not occupy the operation time of machinery and equipment, is usually carried out during the start-up period. The key to maintenance is to clean the equipment, lubricate the moving parts, tighten the loose threaded parts, and check and adjust the motor, control instrument, working parts and pipelines as soon as possible. Regular maintenance is usually carried out after the extruder continues to operate for a long time. The equipment shall be disassembled, inspected, accurately measured and evaluated for the damage condition of key parts, and the parts that have reached the required damage limit shall be replaced and the damaged parts shall be repaired.
Pay special attention to the cleaning of production environment. When the twin-screw extruder is out of service for a long time, the working surfaces such as screw, machine brief and machine head shall be coated with anti rust grease. The small screw should be suspended in the air or placed in a special wooden box, and leveled with wood blocks to prevent the screw from bending or bumping.
Calibrate the temperature control instrument on time, and check the rationality of its regulation and the sensitivity of control.
Careful inspection shall be conducted during maintenance. Descaling, anti-corrosion and temperature reduction measures must be taken during maintenance.
Select full-time personnel to manage the maintenance of twin-screw extruder machinery and equipment. The specific records of each maintenance and repair shall be included in the factory equipment management archives.
